Scratch
DJ Academy’s Past Work
Scratch DJ Academy partners with marquee clients to create and
execute effective marketing campaigns. Prior work includes:
2004 Nokia Mix DJ Contest – In the fall of 2004, Scratch
worked with Nokia to create and execute a DJ battle in 5 major
markets. In the planning stages of the event series, Scratch
consulted with Nokia to create the competition format, judging
criteria,
grassroots marketing plan, and more. Once the program began,
Scratch helped execute the events by providing judges, give-aways,
brand
licensing and prize fulfillment.
AXE Dark Party Tour – In the fall of 2004, the Scratch DJ
Academy was hired to provide its DJ’s for AXE’s 10
city Dark Party Tour. At each event, Scratch’s DJ’s
performed incredible rock & hip-hop sets for thousands
of people in local market clubs.
Target Red Room Tour – Scratch provided main stage DJ’s
and MC’s, in addition to turntable teaching stations
on this highly exposed concert series and tour. The main
stage DJ
provided
a musical landscape for venue while, the teaching stations
entertained and engaged the audience.
Lipton Brisk Flavor of Hip-Hop Tour – In the summer of 2003,
Scratch went on a 16 week, 25 city tour that featured one main
stage DJ and two teaching DJ’s. The Scratch team entertained
massive crowds during major events through showcases, routines
and full day hands-on teaching.
VW Music Ed. College Tour – Scratch was featured
on the 2002 and the 2003 VW Music Ed Tour. These tours hit
20 college campuses
in a 30 day period. At each event, the Scratch DJ Academy
DJ’s
performed for the college audience and gave scratching lessons.
