In today’s world, the DJ is being recognized as a true musical
artist. DJ’s have changed the way people think about and create
music and have forever impacted the music industry, recording artists,
and music fans. On top of all that, DJ’s are some of the coolest
celebrities and hippest trend-setters in New York City and the world.
Kids of all ages want to be DJ’s but don’t have access
to the proper DJ equipment and the proper DJ instruction needed
to teach them the art form of the DJ.
Scratch DJ Academy offers a unique educational and entertainment
experience for school groups in and around the New York City area
where we will teach your students how to be real DJ’s! All
our programs feature:
• Access to DJ equipment
• Copy-written curriculum
• Celebrity DJ instructors
• Top-notch and unparalleled music education experience
Some of our School Program options include:
• Field Trips and Workshops
at Scratch DJ Academy in NYC
Schedule a 1-time field trip or regularly scheduled
visits to Scratch where our DJ instructors will teach your students
to DJ. We can accommodate up to 50 students per visit.
• On-site visits to your
school
Scratch can travel to your school! We will bring
turntable set-ups and provide hands-on DJ instruction with real
celebrity DJ’s for a full or half-day on-site at your school
location.
• Regular After-School
and In-School Programs
Scratch can arrange a DJ instructor to come to your school on a
regular weekly basis to teach a full DJ course to your students.
Our instructors are available multiple days a week to teach children
of all ages and skill levels. Options for quarter, semester, or
year long programs are available.
