This 6-week course is designed for the person has already taken
BM 101 or has sufficient Ableton Live and Reason experience and
wants to take his/her beat making skills to a higher level. BM 202
will feature a much more in depth look into the Ableton 5.0 and
Reason 2.5 programs. The course itself will cover advanced sample
editing, advanced audio and MIDI effects routing, advanced mixing
and automation techniques, advanced song arrangement editing, the
multi-tracking and mixing capabilities of using Reason through Ableton
Live, and more. Students will spend the majority of the time receiving
hands on training at his or her own workstation equipped with a
laptop, midi keyboard, and the Reason 2.5 and Ableton Live 5.0 software.
Instruction will be available on both PC's and Mac's.

**COURSE CANCELLATION POLICY:
Please
note that all Scratch DJ Academy courses and workshops are subject
to cancellation up to the first scheduled day of class. In this
event, all course or workshop payments will either be refunded in
full or used as credit towards another Scratch DJ Academy course,
private lesson, or workshop of equal or lesser value.
If you can’t make it to this course, check out future BM 202
terms at Scratch. New terms start about every 8 weeks. Also check
out Scratch DJ Academy Summer
Sessions. During Summer Session, all BM 202 course material
is covered during an intensive 5-day sessions in July.
