About The Academy
The Faculty

Scratch DJ Academy is the first Academy in the world to feature copy written curriculum and tutorials and showcases by celebrity instructors. Founded in New York City and now open in Los Angeles and Miami, Scratch is the only place where aspiring and amateur DJ’s can come to learn or improve their mixing, blending, scratching and beat juggling skills from some of the best DJ’s in the world. In addition to the fundamentals, students learn the philosophy and business know-how they need to either start or enhance their career.

Courses are organized into 6 and 10 week terms, during which students meet once a week. In between classes, students are given the opportunity to use the Scratch DJ Academy equipment to practice. At the conclusion of the courses, each student is presented with a certificate of achievement certifying his or her accomplishment.
