Our DJ Certification Program is the most comprehensive method for developing world-class DJ skills through the completion of five required courses (DJ101, M202, S202, M303, M404) and one electives (MP101 or S303).

At the end of this program you will have gone from a complete beginner to performance-ready DJ. You will learn:

• DJ history and culture
• Ins and outs of equipment (turntables, mixers, speakers, etc.)
• Basic to advanced mixing and blending
• Basic to intermediate scratching (with advanced turntablist electives)
• Basic to advanced digital DJing
• Performance practicums
• Troubleshooting in a live scenario
• Fundamental marketing and branding tips

Upon completion graduates will have created an electronic press kit (bio, resume, and demo) as their final project and will be included in our alumni program. All graduates will be considered for features on Scratch DJ Academy's media outlets, community events, and talent auditions.
