We understand that our 6-week courses may not be the best option for everyone’s schedule. In response, our private lessons offer a great alternative for those with weekly commitments that conflict with our course schedules. Private lessons are also ideal for anyone with years of DJ experience who want to touch up or further develop specific skills. You can also use private lessons to get a taste of what it’s like to DJ or produce before you commit to one of our courses.

When you book a private lesson at Scratch, our staff takes the time to understand your level of experience and the exact topics you want to cover. We’ll then match you with the appropriate teacher to ensure your expectations are met. You can also choose to follow specific curriculum from one of our courses.

Private lessons can cover almost any materials you desire including the basic principles of DJing and production, intermediate to advanced mixing tricks, scratching and beat juggling, Serato and digital DJing topics, and much more.
