This 2-hour workshop exposes DJ enthusiasts to the fundamental concepts
and skills regarding electronic music mixing. Taught by acclaimed
DJ, producer and record label owner DJ Whatt, students will learn
about the subtleties of music programming and mixing which separate
good electronic music DJ’s from great ones. The workshop is
a combination of lecture and lab, however, students will spend the
majority of the time receiving hands on turntable training. This
workshop is ideal for students with basic to intermediate level
DJ skills. Each student will receive 4 records from the EMUOR label
on which they will learn and get to take home with them after the
event.
