The program is a blend of required and elective classes that allows our students to capture the core skills that become the main building blocks for the artform. We also provide the flexibility to add some specialty skills of their choice via an menu of electives.

The course program goes deep into the art of mixing music…the underlying driver for successful DJ. We teach broadly across a variety of equipment for turntables and vinyl, CDJ’s and Serato. We also provide intense teaching time on Scratching, Beatmaking, Blending and other comprehensive techniques that will help build the essential toolkit for a performing DJ.

For DJ’s who want to pay upfront, you will receive a 12% discount from our basic price for the six class program. For those who want to pay as they go we have established and installment plan that allows for four easy payments over time.

We have created two important elements that take advantage of the unique resources of the Scratch Music Group network:

Job placement programs:
- Graduates will secure auditions with our Scratch Events team that may provide the opportunity to join their vast network of working DJ’s who perform at events around the country.

- Graduates will receive placement consideration with the Scratch Teacher’s Assistant program at your local Scratch DJ Academy. This is an opportunity that will be reserved for students who demonstrate excellence in their coursework and the diligence to help us teach the next wave of students in the program.
